National Coordination of Science and Research
The Qatar Foundation system of innovation is a network of
institutions that interacts jointly and individually to contribute
to the development, and advancement of science and research which
can be in terms of policy, scientific discoveries and technological
innovations.
There are three distinct sets of institutions at
play:

The Key government bodies that are involved in
the national coordination of science and research in Qatar.

The consultation bodies that provide advice on
science and technology such as policy, priority areas and
independent opinions on strategic direction and technical
proposals.

Qatar Foundation Science and Research entities
that implement the activities of research, IPR management and
commercialization within Education City. These activities are
divided into 4 major categories, namely, policy, social science
and business research, scientific and technical research,
innovative design research and sports and society research.
